The Minister of Basic Education, Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, received in audience, on August 2nd, 2023 in his office, the Director of the French Development Agency (AFD), Ms. Virginie Dago, accompanied by Ms. Chrystelle Tapouh, mission manager at AFD. In his introduction remarks, , Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa welcomed the enriching collaboration between MINEDUB and AFD through the C2D project. Speaking in turn, the Director of AFD also praised the work done by both parties since the begining of project in 2009 and especially welcomed the dynamism experienced by the project from 2019, in particularly in the north. The Minister of Basic Education and his host also discussed the end of the project. In this perspective, the liabilities linked to the salaries of staff still in office should be settled. In his conclusion remarks, Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa reassured his guests that the activities are carried out so far well for a peaceful end of the project, although there are still some formalities to be finalized.
