there will Soon be a cultural center Studied in Yaoundé. A pontifical mass was said on this occasion of the future first Beti cultural center in the capital, Saturday August 26, 2023, to present this project to the Lord. It was on the initiative of Pr Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, Etudi patriarch. The religious service was celebrated by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Yaounde, the archbishop Jean Mbarga, in the presence of many personalities from the Mfoundi’s Division and elsewhere, like; Andre Mama Fouda, former Health’s Minister; Prof. Marie Therese Abena Ondoa, Minister for the Promotion of Women and the Family; Martin Mbarga Nguele, General Delegate for National Security; of Clement Atangana, president of the constitutional council, among others, as well as of the Etudi community, represented in its various components. Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa presented the cultural center in the making as a framework for the sustainability of the Beti culture in general and that of the Etudi in particular, so that future generations can learn from it.
The Etudi community thanked the head of State who allowed them to acquire a plot of land not far from the Palace of Unity.
