The Ekounou bilingual public school complex hosted this Friday, October 18, 2024, the official ceremony of the 17th edition of the National School Orientation Day (JNOS), celebrated this year under the theme: << Orientation-Counseling: an opportunity to consolidate teachings in an inclusive, healthy, safe and protective environment for basic education >>. Chaired by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Basic Education, Dr. Vivian Asheri Kilo, personal representative of the Minister of Basic Education, several articulations furnished this event which draws all its relevance from Cameroon’s desire to promote inclusion, quality, safety … within all public or private nursery and primary schools. Thus, in his speech, Dr. Vivian Asheri Kilo encouraged all efforts that are made in the direction of creating an inclusive, healthy, safe and protective environment for basic education before inviting the entire educational community to get involved in strengthening the tools, means and methods that promote learning in the school environment.
