Mr. OYONO Adams Daniel, Secretary General of the Ministry of Basic Education, received in audience this Thursday, August 17, 2023, Mr. Eric Theophile TCHOUMKEU, Director General of Editions de Midi. He was accompanied by the Head of the Legal Affairs Division, Mr. EPANDA Apollinaire; the Director of Nursery and Primary Education, Ms EDOU Louise; and representatives of the Director of Lay Private Basic Education and the national Pedagogic Inspector in charge of primary education. By way of introduction, the Secretary General of MINEDUB will address this question to the CEO of the publishing house: “why Editions de Midi? “. A question that will allow Mr. TCHOUMKEU Theophile to present this 4-years-old general publishing house which has, among other projects, those relating to education. Concretely, “support books” that could be made available to children in schools. An idea which was reoriented by the Secretary General of MINEDUB and his collaborators who recommended to the CEO of Editions de Midi to put together an offer file which will be studied by the relevant directorate.
