Monday March 25th 2024, in the conference hall of the Ministry of Basic Education, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Basic Education Mr. OYONO Adams Daniel, personal representative of the Minister of Basic Education, chaired the launching ceremony of the KIX Program AFRICA 21, Cameroon. The two-day activity will take place in plenary sessions and workshops with the aim of informing stakeholders and partners in the training and education sector on the level of implementation of KIX AFRICA 21, Cameroon.
KIX AFRICA 21, Cameroon is a regional Francophonie hub for GPE member countries in West and Central Africa, Indian Ocean, which oversees activities in the 21 partner countries. It is a consortium made up of three organizations which are IFEF, CONFEMEN and AUF with the aim of contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of educational policies national.
A detailed explanation of KIX AFRICA 21 was presented by the Pedagogical Inspector of Non-Formal Literary Education and the Promotion of National Languages of the Ministry of Basic Education Madame NDAYI Claudette, followed by some presentations by the members from the KIX Africa 21 office of Cameroon.
The Secretary General in his speech appreciated the technical and financial partners, for their efforts and reiterated that this attempt will go a long way in ensuring that education is not tampered with by ensuring access, equity, governance, relevance and quality in conflict zones coupled with COVID. -19, thus declaring the official ceremony open.
The workshop will be composed of participants divided into groups whose objective will be to propose a five-year strategic plan in order to propose ideas and elements related to challenges, strategies, actions, activities and innovation that will stimulate the successful implementation of this program in Cameroon.
The ceremony ended with family photos and interviews.
