DPPC

Placed under the authority of a Division Manager, the Planning, Projects and Cooperation Division is responsible for:

– the formulation of objectives and strategic orientations in the medium and long term;

– planning and programming the Ministry’s investments and monitoring their implementation;

– prospective studies relating to the creation of new public schools in accordance with the school map;

– monitoring cooperation agreements;

– drawing up the school map;

– the study, preparation and coordination of projects relating to Basic Education, in liaison with the technical departments;

– studies relating to the siting and rational use of school buildings and equipment;

– the design of plans and the preparation of estimates for school buildings;

– monitoring the execution of the powers transferred to the Communes in terms of construction, maintenance and equipment of school infrastructure, in accordance with the standards provided for in the specifications;

– the consistency of the projects and programs undertaken by the Ministry within the framework of the implementation of the Education Sector Strategy.
