The Secretary General of the Ministry of Basic Education Dr. OYONO Adams Daniel alongside some close collaborators granted an audience to the country representative of the Turkish Maarif foundation Mr. EMRAH KUGUK. After a welcome address by the Secretary General, the visitors were asked the raison d’être of thier visit. Taking the floor, the representative of Maarif foundation expressed his concerns about the feedback of the file he submitted last year for the granting of an authorization to open an international school. In response, the Secretary General ensured him that the procedure was pending and gave the floor to the Director of Legal Affais for further information. Taking the floor, Mr. EPANDA Apollinaire assured the visitors that after validation of their syllabus by the General Inspectorate of Education, the Department of Private Basic Education will issue an opening authorization. To conclude, the Secretary General called on the the Country representative of Maarif foundation that the Departments concerned were processing the files and in due time the authorization will be out.
