Audience granted by the Minister of Basic Education this Monday April 8th, 2024 to the Regional Director and representative of the UNESCO Multisectoral Office for Central Africa Mr Paul Coustere

The Minister of Basic Education, President of the National Commission of UNESCO (COMNAT), Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa received in audience in his office on Monday April 8th, 2024, the Regional Director and representative of the Multisectoral Office of UNESCO for Central Africa, Mr Paul Coustère. This audience focused on the preparation of International Literacy Day scheduled from September 9th to 10th 2024. During the discussions, the UNESCO team wished to work in close collaboration with MINEDUB, so that the celebration of International Literacy Day is a great success and reflects the cultural and linguistic diversity of Cameroon. A wish shared and strongly encouraged by the Minister of Basic Education who asked the ministerial team to set up the organization of this major event to immediately get to work to prepare the draft which will be sent to the Presidency of the Republic for validation.
