Alongside some of her ministry’s colleagues. Dr. Vivian Asheri Kilo delivered a welcome speech and gave the floor to the General Coordinator. Dr Moussa Ousmaro indicated that the objective of their visit was to appreciate the gesture made by the Minister by choosing a member of his ministry to participate in the organizing committee of the international conference held on July 13th, 2023 with the Prime Minister representing The head of state. Furthermore, he states that the reason for their visit is to present the mission of CIDIMUC which is to promote peace, education, the empowerment of women and youth, the resolutions of the international conference with its objectives to create a regional network for Muslims and young people.

African dignitaries for peace, women’s empowerment, promotion of girls’ education and family planning. In a few words, Secretary of State Dr. Vivian Asheri Kilo welcomed the initiative put in place by CIDIMUC to guarantee the schooling of girls, a major concern for which the government strives to ensure gender equality between boys and girls in schools, particularly in the South and the north region of Cameroon where it was a taboo. Furthermore, the secretary of state also mentioned the fact that the noble prize for literature was awarded to a Muslim lady and that women now occupy high positions of responsibility in government offices. She encourages the coordinator not to give up in his efforts but to continue launching awareness campaigns to educate parents to send their daughters to school and become great women in the future.

The audience ended at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Moussa Ousmaro giving to the Secretary of State a gifts containing a French Quran, a newsletter and a declaration’s document as a sign of gratitude . All ended with a family photo as a souvenir.
