The 42 nd General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) takes place in Paris, from November 7th to 22th, 2023. Remember that the General Conference gives the general orientation of UNESCO. It adopts a program and a budget for UNESCO for the following two years. It elects the members of the executive council and appoints the Director General every four years. To this end, Cameroon, a Member State of UNESCO, is taking part in this 42nd General Conference. The Cameroonian delegation is led by Professor LAURENT SERGE ETOUNDI NGOA, Minister of Basic Education, President of the National Commission for UNESCO.
