Professor Laurent Serge ETOUNDI NGOA, Minister of Basic Education, granted an audience on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at 2:50 p.m. in his office, to the Director General of Prudencial Beneficial Insurance and his team. This group aimed to present two offers to MINEDUB: the degree Insurance and the chatting program. The Insurance degree is a product from Prudencial Beneficial which offers parents, guardians and sponsors better security for the education of their children in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as the death or permanent disability of the parents. The chatting program as for it is a financial education which teaches primary school children to earn, save, spend, give and above all to know how to distinguish between useful and pleasant. At the end of this presentation, the Minister of Basic Education, who opted for the Insurance degree, assured the Beneficial Insurance team that the latter will be analyzed with those responsible for Minedub and that it will be submitted to the Parents’ Associations, so that appropriate decisions can be made for its implementation.
